5 Year Breast Cancer Survivor Testimonial
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago, Barbara Churchill was the first person I called. She was able to draw upon her skills in counseling and creative visualization to help prepare me for surgery. Post surgery Barbara encouraged me to move and allow the healing to begin to take place. Her warm and positive manner was an enormous source of comfort to me as well as my family. She used light touch massage for relaxation and to reduce the trauma to my nervous system. We are really impressed with SON Formula Protein Tablets, the master amino acid pattern capsules. After taking one year off from our regular exercise regime, we finally forced ourselves over to the gym to start pumping iron. We promised ourselves to start with lighter weights and to pump three times each week, no matter how badly our muscles hurt. Barbara, our wellness coach, recommended taking 5 SON tablets before each workout so we decided to give it a try. Well, we couldn’t believe it when our muscles were OK after the very first and then the succeeding workouts. We could feel the muscles but they did not ache nor did we need to moan and whine and suffer. Many years on a largely raw vegan diet, stress and other issues have left me with a very weak, finicky digestive system that seems to have a hard time breaking down just about everything, including even healthy, clean proteins. (I've been trying to round out my nutritional profile with things like raw egg, raw goat's milk, grass-fed beef, etc.)
I have tried digestive enzymes with little impact. HCL has seemed to help more, which makes sense, since it is critical to start the whole chain of events needed for protein digestion.
When I do eat, I tend toward fruits, veggies and quinoa because, of all choices, these seem to create the fewest problems. Yet, they don't satiate for long, and my diet became WAY too carb heavy. This created
